Non-winning apple pies and apple butter entries will be available for purchase at the Murphysboro Event Center between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m the day of the contest.
Apple Pies will be $10.00
Apple Butter will be $5.00
Winning Apple Pies and Apple Butter entries will be auctioned off at a time and place TBA

Pies and apple butter must be brought to the Murphysboro Event Center between 7:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 17. Further COVID precautions will be in place - details TBA.
Containers become the property of the Apple Festival.
All apple butter jars must be sealed.
Judges have the final decision.
Apple Butter and Apple Pie categories will have different judges.
Apple Pies will be judged on appearance, crust, filling, and flavor.
Apple Butter will be judged on appearance, taste, and texture.
